Shafts

The Shaft tool allows the creation of a shaft consisting of multiple straight, tapered, and threaded shaft segments. This tool can be used in place of the Straight, Tapered, and Threaded Shaft tools which are limited to the placement of a single shaft segment.

1.	Click the shaft point object from the Machine Components tool set to insert a shaft segment.

If this is the first time the object has been inserted in this session, the Object Properties dialog box opens.

Click OK.
